Portobello Café Society is primarily a networking/lobbying group working to support independent businesses within North Kensington - the areas of Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove, Portobello and Golborne - especially, but not only, cafés, coffee bars, pubs and restaurants.

We recognise and value the vital contribution that local independent businesses make to our community and our area. We therefore work to foster links between them, and with the local community and local government.

 

We also support community events (including Small Business Saturday and International Record Store Day), and we support campaigns to protect and preserve local community assets and amenities.

Portobello Café Society is an independent non-profit grassroots organisation established in 2013 by two long-time residents of North Kensington.
